"Support got back to me really fast..."
I had a quick issue and, honestly... support replied way faster than I expected. They helped me sort it out quickly.

"Setup was easier than I expected"
I got it installed without much hassle, which surprised me a bit. I kept wondering if I was missing a step or doing something wrong, but it seemed to go smoothly...

"Pretty fair for the price"
I’d say the pricing is reasonable for what you get. I used the free option for a bit, maybe a week or so, and it gave me enough time to figure out if it was worth paying for. It’s not the absolute cheapest out there, but for me it feels like a fair deal overall

"I mostly needed it for torrents..."
I mostly needed it for torrents, and it worked fine for me. Downloads ran smoothly, and I didn’t feel stressed or worried while using it, which matters a lot. It just felt dependable enough that I could set things up and not keep checking every few minutes.

"Heads up: this VPN is actually super easy to use"
Just a quick heads-up for anyone who gets annoyed by confusing VPN apps: TunnelBear is really easy to figure out. The design is cute and simple, the map makes sense, and the big on/off switch is pretty much impossible to miss. It only took me about a minute to understand how everything worked. Overall, it’s clean, straightforward, and way less intimidating than a lot of other VPN apps I’ve tried.

"Canceling felt harder than it should’ve"
I did eventually get it canceled, but it took longer than I expected. Maybe I’m missing something, but the whole process felt like it should’ve been a lot simpler.

"Pretty solid speeds most days"
Not gonna lie, the speeds are good most of the time. It’s usually fast enough for what I need, though I do notice a few slowdowns at night every now and then.

"Overall, it’s been stable for..."
Overall, it’s been stable for me. The connection does drop here and there, but most days it stays steady enough that I don’t really think about it. I kind of wonder if the random drops might be more on my router or the area I’m in, but I can’t say for sure

"Works smoothly on all my devices"
I’ve been using it on my Mac, iPhone, and tablet, and it’s been really smooth so far. I especially like that everything synced up without me having to mess with a bunch of settings, and I haven’t run into any weird glitches or compatibility issues...

"Still a little unsure about the no-logs claim"
tunnelbear is simple to use and I didn’t really have any trouble getting it set up, but when it comes to the whole no-logs thing I’m still not completely convinced because they say the right stuff and the audits are nice to see and that definitely helps, but I still wish there was clearer, more detailed info laid out in a way that made me feel fully confident about what is or isn’t being kept. Overall it’s not bad at all, just kind of average for me.

"Good for getting around blocked sites"
I mostly use tunnelbear when certain sites or apps are blocked where I live, and it usually works well. My brother actually told me to try it, and I’ve been using it since then whenever I need to access something quickly. Most of the time it connects fast and opens what I need without much hassle. A few servers can be slow now and then, and one time it wouldn’t load properly until I switched to another location. Overall though, it’s simple to use and does the job for bypassing censorship.

"Finally, a VPN that doesn’t box me in"
I’ve been using tunnelbear for a few months now, it’s been a relief. Some VPN apps made me feel kind of trapped, like I was constantly waiting for them to freeze, crash, or mess up whatever I was doing. This one opens quickly and just gets out of the way.
I use it mostly on my laptop and phone, and it actually stays connected without turning into another thing I have to babysit. It’s a simple thing, but when you’re tired of apps making everything feel more annoying than it needs to be, that stability really matters

"Good to see the audits up front"
I like that they actually share independent audits. It just makes the whole thing feel a lot less sketchy, you know? Definitely made me more comfortable choosing them...

"Easy win for streaming while traveling"
I got TunnelBear mainly so I could keep watching my usual stuff while I was away, it did the job better than I expected. My rule of thumb is simple: if Netflix and YouTube load without me having to babysit them, I call it a win. Both worked fine for me, with no random error messages or endless buffering.

The app is also very easy to figure out, which I appreciate. I basically just pick a country, hit connect, and move on. Once or twice I had to switch servers, but that took maybe 10 seconds, so I didn’t really think much of it. Overall, I’m happy with it so far.

"Login and account stuff has been easy"
I’ve been using TunnelBear mostly on my laptop and phone, logging in on both was super easy. The account page is straightforward too, I found my plan and settings without having to click around forever. Haven’t run into any weird errors so far, I’m happy with it.

"Easy to use, but the communication could be clearer"
I’ve been using TunnelBear for a while now, it’s been simple. I downloaded it, picked a country, and it just worked, which is exactly what I needed since I’m not super techy. I like that the app doesn’t throw a million confusing settings at you, and the little bear theme is actually kind of cute. My only annoyance is that some of the communication could be clearer, especially when there’s a status update or something changes in the app. I don’t want to guess what’s going on. Other than that, I haven’t had any real issues so far.

"The free plan works well enough for me"
I mostly use TunnelBear’s free plan when I’m on public Wi-Fi and just want a little extra peace of mind. The data limit isn’t huge, so I wouldn’t rely on it for everything, but for my own quick browsing or checking a few things while I’m out, it does the job. It’s easy to use and I haven’t had any issues with it, which is really all I need.

"Hardly even notice it’s on"
I’ve been using TunnelBear on my laptop and phone for a few weeks now, though I haven’t done any serious testing or anything. From what I can tell, the battery drain seems low, and most of the time I forget it’s even running.

Speeds have been fine for everyday stuff like browsing, YouTube, and checking email. I might be noticing a tiny slowdown here and there, but I can’t say for sure, and it hasn’t been annoying. Overall, it feels simple and just kind of works.

"The free data is actually enough for me"
I only use a VPN once in a while, so I was a little worried the free data limit would run out fast. But after trying it, I’m relieved to say it’s been totally fine for my needs. I haven’t hit the limit yet, and it’s been simple to use whenever I need it

"Works okay, but I expected more server options"
tunnelbear has been fine for everyday use, and it’s easy enough to get connected. I guess I just expected a wider range of server locations than what’s actually available. A few countries I was hoping to use weren’t listed, which was a little disappointing. Speeds are also kind of hit or miss depending on where I connect. It’s not a bad VPN at all, but it didn’t quite match what I had in mind.
